Fully Prepared for Future Growth
Success inevitably leads to growth and even greater ambitions. Eventually, you face IT solutions that no longer meet current demands and new developments. This is a turning point where opting for digital transformation is wise.
A gap in the market effectively brings supply and demand together. Calco grew steadily and strengthened its position in the market. Annually, they work with a talent pool of over 500 employees, most of whom eventually move on to permanent positions.
In this blog, Rianne Kool, Director of Projects & Innovation at Calco, talks about the why and how of their digital transformation.
Building a Future-Proof Environment
“Our employees are worth their weight in gold. We do everything we can to get to know them inside and out so that we can support and guide them to success. The better we succeed, the better we can match our employees with client needs, and the happier we all are. Clearly a win-win-win situation.
With the primary focus on clients and employees came new IT goals and processes. Rianne explains, “Gradually, an extensive IT landscape emerged, with many solutions linked together, some smoother than others. This resulted in a tangle of systems, Excel sheets, emails, and separate ways of reporting. That was okay at the time, but with our ambition for further growth in mind, we wanted to build a powerful, future-proof IT environment. One where all activities around clients and employees come together.”
Calco sought a platform that could offer an integrated view of clients and employees. An environment where everyone collaborates effectively, where all activities and data converge, creating a single point of truth for all involved.
Integrated Employee Journey
Rianne: “We asked a seasoned IT architect to help us map out our current and desired digital landscape. It quickly became clear that we wanted a robust, open cloud platform with a powerful solution to support our core processes as a staffing agency. We are a people business, everything revolves around people. So the complete talent journey, from contract to invoice – and beyond – must be seamless and scalable. Byner was proposed, and we were immediately enthusiastic.”
Since Byner is developed on the Salesforce Platform, it is easy to build a digital landscape with the best solutions in the ecosystem. Rianne: “Byner is the central app in which we manage everything around employees and clients. To support sales, we integrated Sales Cloud, the world’s number 1 CRM, and for B2B marketing, we now have smart Marketing Automations.”
Further Integrations
The next step on the roadmap includes integrations with the new recruitment website and Finance and Payroll solutions like Cobra and Exact Online. Rianne: “Creating one powerful environment is a fantastic adventure. Byner understands our specific business thoroughly. They think along with us and challenge us to achieve the best results.”
