With your experience in B2B software sales and within the German staffing industry, you will make an immediate impact concerning our international expansion. Your mission:
As our Business Development Manager (BDM), you play a key role in realizing Byner’s breakthrough in the DACH region, starting with a focus on Germany. Through your persuasive sales skills, your hunter mentality and your deep understanding of the German staffing industry, you succeed in getting new customers on board to join our Byner client community. Working closely with our marketing and solution engineering teams, you will uncover new opportunities, build meaningful customer relationships and make sure that Byner will become the backbone of staffing agencies across Germany and the DACH region.

Core responsibilities
New business lead generation
- Outbound: You will proactively generate new leads and drive outbound sales through various outreach methods and networking. We have a clear picture of the total addressable market and have several other entry points ready for you to work with, such as our memberships in industry associations like APSCo and the GVP or key industry events
- Inbound: In addition to your own sales activities, you work closely with our marketing team to follow up on new leads generated through our online marketing campaigns as well as strategic partners that help us identify new business opportunities
Managing the sales process and closing deals
- You will be responsible for managing the sales process from the initial discovery to a closed deal, by independently selling product licenses for our SaaS platform and associated professional services, e.g. for implementation and consulting
- Assist our Solution Engineers in delivering engaging product demos
- Manage your sales activities in our CRM (Salesforce) to ensure timely and accurate reporting on pipeline development and sales results
- Drive sustainable pipeline growth in your territory by identifying qualifying new business opportunities to ensure that sales targets are met
Business development
- As our main face to the market in DACH, you will actively uncover and follow up on opportunities in the German staffing market by connecting with relevant stakeholders and networking partners in the industry
- Collaborate with colleagues from sales, marketing and operations – along with our strategic partners – to execute and improve our go-to-market strategy
- Build and manage strong relationships with clients and other key stakeholders in the German staffing industry to build a local Byner customer community
- Be the voice of the market towards our product organisation and regularly share feedback regarding market developments and requirements to improve and adapt our product to local needs

- A base salary between €80.000 and €100.000 and OTE between €90.000 and €120.000, depending on how well your background meets the role

What the job requires:
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, of which at least 2 years in software sales. Resulting in proven success in driving outbound sales, developing new business and managing customer relationships
- At least 3 years of experience working with agencies in the German staffing industry, either in account management or sales, as a consultant or as a software vendor. Resulting in deep knowledge of the German staffing industry, its processes, trends and challenges
- Desire to work in an international hybrid organization, where the remote/on-site ratio will be 60/40. Willingness to travel to the Netherlands at least once a month and to events and customers across Germany (we expect travel will occur most to areas around Düsseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg, München and Frankfurt). All travel expenses are compensated
- You combine your persuasive sales skills with a consultative approach to deeply understand customer needs and identify suitable solutions.
- A good understanding of software is required (Salesforce is a plus)
- You are German native speaking and possess English professional working proficiency
- Ideally, you live close to the Dutch border
